Lost Ark: How to get no less than 72 island hearts?
Island Hearts are a big part of the adventure in Lost Ark. You'll need to collect at least 15 to access the western part of the world map, but continuing to collect will earn you other valuable rewards. Here is a guide to get no less than 72 Island Hearts!

Note: The information below is valid for the Korean and Russian versions, even if certain points sometimes differ slightly (quantity of objects for reputations, etc.).
I. Prerequisites
Before you start hunting for Islands Hearts, I strongly advise you to finish the blue quests. You will receive one for free. The island names will not be translated since the game is only available in Korean or with an unofficial English patch.
But what is that for?
First of all, with each new heart, you will receive quite interesting items or stuff.
After 15 hearts, you will have access to the western part of the map. You can then complete the purple Procyon Curtain quest.
Give the hearts to the statue on the island below. Don't forget to talk to the NPC on the island afterward to receive the items.
It is located between mainland Bern and Anihc:
If you have time, spend each day on the islands requiring affinity, it's quite long to increase it, so it's better to do it in advance!
Some islands have few details because they are straightforward or because I just haven't done them yet.
Some guides do not have the same names. If the name of an island is different between the two guides, I wrote both.
II. Island Heart by purple quests - 15 hearts
1. Lonely Island Opera
Complete the green quest on the island.
It will be your first heart if you follow the story well.
2. Fomona/Pomona Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
Requires 40 Charm. Talk to the NPC at the top of the map and choose the 3rd option.
3.Turtle Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
You will exchange the item received by a Giant Tortoise mount. To do this, go to any major city and talk to the merchant "Fancy Merchant".
4. Broken Glacier Island
- Complete the quest on the island.
- You need to do the purple Payto boat quest first.
- You will get the song: Quiet Elegy.
- The island is located in a frost zone (requires the 3rd boat)
- In the end, you will have to go to Bikini Island.
5. Bikini Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
You must first do the purple quest located on the Ardentine continent, in the southwestern part of Shutaereun.
6. Starlight/Starlight Lighthouse Island
- Complete the purple quest present on the island.
- Requires 50 Pirate Coins
- Many trips between continents, the tp is recommended to go faster.
7. Island of Recall/Reminiscent Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
Be careful to follow this path carefully. There are very bad debuffs around the island.
Talk to the round thing in the air to start the quest and examine (G) as many places as possible following the route.
In the dungeon, examine (G) many things, the armor > the table and the tablet.
8. Serene/Silent Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
The quest starts next to a tree near the entrance. (Press G when you're next)
After doing 2-3 quests on the island, you have to do two dungeons:
- The first (Tortoyk in the body) is on Tortoyk Island, validating the first 2 points of the quest and exit.
- The second (Submerged Rubbles) is in Eudia.
- Then return to the island at the start of the quest and kill the Boss (which hurts a little).
9. Dreaming Seagull Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
Requires music: Minuet of the Forest. Be patient. You'll have a blast going around the island several times.
10. Ice Maze Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
Requires Humpback Whale Oil.
Humpback Whale Oil can be obtained in the following ways:
- Belita in Notos Island with a max affinity
- Epona to Notos Island - Tears of the sea, six days of daily quests
- Whale watching at Notos Island, daily Tears of the sea (random)
- The island is located in a frost zone (requires the 3rd boat).
Locate yourself in the maze. I was slightly above the purple square at the top left.
Go to a purple square.
Take the yellow quest, and therefore the big bug with it (to be checked)
Talk to the NPC located at the blue dot
Go to ANOTHER purple area.
11. Distorted Dimension Island (West Side)
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
Requires 3 Vision Cubes which randomly drop Silver or higher chests in the Cube.
The island is in a storm zone.
12. Gravis Resort (West Side)
Complete the purple quest related to Bikini Island.
13. Fog/Mist Island West Side)
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
PvP Island
You need to find six memos to complete the quest:
- Down the harbor
- Southeast side of the island
- The Southeast side of the island also
- Moth (random drop)
- Big Spider (random drop)
- Tree Monster (random drop)
There is no specific order for collecting memos.
14. Naruni Island (West Side)
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
You have to be patient, talk to 101 critters, and move every 5-10 seconds.
This island will take you an hour if you have the right method.
Recommended location: you will have one every 30 to 45 seconds.
15. Island of Sublimity (West Side)
Complete the purple quest present on the island.

Note: ilvl 410 recommended.
III. Island Hearts via daily quests (Epona) - 8 hearts
16. Topopia
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
After reaching level 3 of the island's Epona quests, the purple quest will appear.
Requires three days of daily quests.
17. Notos Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
The purple quest will appear after completing three daily quests.
Reminder: You will get Humpback Whale Oil used in Ice Maze Island after completing six daily quests (Tears of the sea).
18. Fugitive Village
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
Complete the daily quest Criminal arrest six times after completing the purple quest.
Requires 250 Pirate Coins
Note: You must make the quest Criminal arrest but not the other one: I want scrap metal.
19. Lopang Island
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
The purple quest will appear after completing six daily quests from Epona TO THE SAME destination.
I recommend the quest to Tortoyk. It's the closest.
You can get the Braums boat after 31 daily quests to any destination.
20. Club Avenue
Complete the purple quest present on the island.
After getting lvl three reputations, the purple quest will appear by completing daily quests.
The purple quest involves doing a Guardian Raid, a Chaos Dungeon, the 25th floor of the Tower of Shadow, and a Ghost Ship.
Requires visiting Harmony Island to complete the quest.
21. Dream Island/Isle of Dream (West Side)
Level 2 reputation reward from Epona's daily quest (7 days of quests to do).
You must first complete the yellow quest.
After activating Epona's quest, it does not require doing the Ten Fish Oil quest. (If you complete this quest anyway, you will get an achievement).
The daily quest asks you to go to Luteran City and buy an item from Aiter. You can keep this item in your inventory for future daily quests and avoid wasting time returning to Luteran.
22. Atrophus/Atropose (West Side)
Random drop from Reward Boxes obtained by throwing coins into the fountain in the middle of the island.
Three coins will be given to you each time the daily quest is validated.
Epona's quest is available after completing the yellow island quest. And completing the purple quest on the island will also give you three coins.
The NPCs involved in the purple quest are not marked on the map. You have to hover your mouse cursor over the NPCs on the mini-map to see a purple logo appear next to their names.
23. Sea/Ocean Paradise Payto
Complete all the purple quests present on the island (several in sequence).
Each purple quest will appear after completing each Epona daily quest.
Requires Emote: Roar, purchased on Freedom Island with 15 Mark of a black tooth (white rings) or randomly obtained from all Chaos Dungeons.
IV. Island Heart by affinity - 7 hearts
24. Ribenheim
Max affinity with Henry.
25. Panda Pupu Island
Maximum affinity with Pupu.
26.Totosilver Island
Max affinity with Elder Toto.
27. Blacktooth Garrison/Post
Max affinity with Blacktooth.
The island is in a storm zone.
28. White Waves Island
Max affinity with Emma.
29. Eye of Hypnos/Hypnose Eye (West Side)
Max affinity with Calbasus.
The island is in a siren song zone. You can get the Tragon Shipafter 30 daily quests from Epona.
PvP Island (Colosseum only)
30. Island of Hope (West Side)
Complete the purple quest on the island.
Island entry requirements: Affinity with Gobius from Goblin Island at Normal level 2 + Complete the following affinity quest.
V. Island Heart per collection or random - 30 hearts
31. Fortuna
Random drop after a few minutes of pot smashing.
The drop chance has recently been increased. It is much easier to get it.
32. Wisdom Island
Exchange for 3 Giant's Hearts.
Requires Song: Song of Resonance
- Giant's Heart 1: Do the Totosilver Island purple quest.
- Giant's Heart 2: Reach floor 18 of the Shadow Tower.
- Giant's Heart 3: Have Tortoyk's Adventure Book at 70%
Other ways to get Giant's Hearts:
Heart of the giant - total 15
1. Acquired at 70% of Totoik adventure
2. Completed at the completion of Totoik purple quest
3. Heaven North's Eye NPC blue eye's Calvados acquired in favor of compensation
4. Obtained at the completion of 18th floor of tower of shadow
5. Acquired in ice maze box
6-7. Obtained by underwater exploration
8. Obtained with treasure
9. Island of liberty NPC exchange from black teeth (345 Template limite exists)
10. Pirate town atlas NPC black wreck exchange from sailor
11. Exchange from Atropos NPC
- When you acquire 3 giant's heart, you acquire a quest item that can acquire the mind of the island of wisdom
- The remaining 4 are not listed on the home
33. Sleeping Song Island
Random drop from co-op quest chest - Sleeping Song Box
Requires Song: Song of Resonance
After completing the purple quest, you can get the song: Minuet of the Forest.
The purple quest requires the validation of a coop quest (30 people singing Song of Resonance).
The island is only available at certain times of the day.
34. Sunflower Island
Exchange for 10 Masterpiece Paintings.
35. Duki Island
Random drop on King Duki, Boss.
The Boss pops at the end of the co-op quest, after several phases of the quest.
Four possible island spawns.
The island is only available at certain times of the day.
36. Golden Wave Island
Random drop following the opening of chests available on the island.
37. Small Lucky Island
Random Chest Drop: Small Lucky Box that you can buy from the Wandering Merchant.
The traveling merchant appears every 2 hours (I don't know if it's at a fixed time or not, but it appeared just after midnight around 12:10-20 for me).
Each chest costs ten pirate coins.
Note: Chests can drop a Masterpiece Painting.
38. Estela
Random drop by picking up stardust or "stardust" that spawns on certain locations on the island.
39. Alacare / KFC Island
Random drop after big chicken King Chicken is killed.
It's a feather (which launches a quest) that drops and not the heart. The quest will give you the heart at the end.
The Boss pops after the 700 chicken kill co-op quest. (pops every 20-30 min.).
The more chickens you kill, the more chance you drop the feather.
There are three types of King Chicken: Black, White, and Gold.
The Gold King Chicken almost always drops the feather, unlike the other 2.
40. Giant Mushroom Island
Random drop from cutting trees "Lumber Huge Mushrooms."
Requires Lumberjack skill: Lumberjack, which can be unlocked at lvl 2.5
41. Slime Island
Random drop on Golden Slimes. They appear randomly every 7 minutes or so.
The Boss Queen Slime only gives you Slime Coins.
PvP Island
42. Kaltes Herz
Random drop from chests given by freed slaves - Repayment Box or Freed Slave Pouch
You can free up to 5 enslaved people per day. (reset at 6:00 a.m.).
Each slave costs between 50 and 300 pirate coins. Look for the cheapest so as not to lose too many pirate coins.
The chests come by mail (impossible to see on the island).
The island is in a frost zone (requires the 3rd boat).
43. Monte Island (West Side)
Random drop from Competitive Quest Chest (PvP?) - Monte Island Participation Reward.
44. Harmony Island (West Side)
Random drop from chests obtained through co-op quests.
There are four consecutive co-op quests. If you earn participation points for all co-op quests, you can get up to 4 chests each time the island spawns.
You can get the song: Harmony of Heaven
45. Island of Desire/Isle of Longing(West Side)
Random drop from chest: Setino's Secret Bag drops on Deputy Captain of the Slow Turtle.
Both the chest and the island heart are random.
46. Outlaw Island (West Side)
Randomly drop Treasure Chests that spawn on the island in 3 different locations, approximately every 5 minutes.
The island is in a storm zone, and it is a PvP island
(Apparently, people don't hit each other and just line up at each spawn, taking turns opening chests. If you hit people here, everyone will try to kill you.)
47. Overgrown/Lush Reed Island
Random drop from "Treasure Boxes" present on the island or depending on the "Reward Pouch" PvP quest.
One of the chests requires the song Minuet of the Forest to obtain.
PvP Island
48. Pirate Village Atlas
Exchange for 16800 Pirate Coins with Am Sangin.
The island is in a storm zone, a PvP island.
49. Freedom Island
Exchange for 16800 Pirate Coins with Secretive Rosa
The island is in a storm zone
50. Goblin Island (West Side)
Random drop from Pandora Goblin Chest.
Each chest costs 3 Goblin Coins. Monsters on the island drop items that can be exchanged for Globin Coins. Epona's daily quest gives 3 Goblin Coins.
PvP Island
51. Hallucination Island
The random drop of "Treasure Boxes" chests present on the island or depending on the PvP quest (Reward Box).
The island is in a siren song zone, a PvP island.
Chests can only be opened if you have five or more Madness.
The "Madness" effect can be obtained by interacting with the tombstones (Gravestones) present on the island.
52. New Moon Island
Random drop while hunting (to be checked).
Requires Hunting Level 5
53. City of the Forgotten/Forgotten City
The random drop of "Treasure Boxes" chests can be opened with "Keys of Oblivion" keys. These keys are obtained by fishing on the island.
54. Bolar Island
Random drop from co-op quest dependent chest: Bolard Secret Box.
55. Mede
Random chest drop depending on PvP quest (in the team?): Medea's Gift/!\ PvP Island
56. Opportunity Island
Random drop from chest depending on Competitive Fishing Quest: Gang Tae Gong's Pouch
57. Argon
Build an ice statue by tapping the ice block until 0HP (tapping after that is useless).
Drills can randomly drop after failed attempts. The drill damages the block but can only be used once.
It is recommended to unequip your weapon when hitting a block of ice.
Once the statue is built, it cannot be built again on the same day.
Resets at midnight (4 p.m. in France).
The island is in a frost zone (requires the 3rd boat).
58. Calm Peaceful / Tranquil Island (West Side)
Random drop on all co-op quest and co-op quest chest bosses.
You can get the song: Twilight Requiem.
The island is in a storm zone.
59. False Desire / Misuided Island
Random drop from the Secret Map can be obtained for 100 Wrong Pieces.
You can have at least 20 Wrong Pieces by doing the Competitive PVP quest (you will earn more if you reach 3rd place or higher).
You can exchange 10 Wrong Pieces for 100 Lost Ark gold pieces.
PvP Island
60. Shadow Island (West Side)
Exchange for the Imprint of Shadow item can be obtained on the 19th floor of the 2nd Tower Tower of Fate.
It can be traded after completing the purple quest.
The island is in a storm zone.
VI. Island Heart by Field Bosses - 12 hearts

61. Forpe
Random drop on the Field Boss Bituac or Big Bituac.
The Boss appears every 2 hours, between the first 10 and 20 minutes (example: 0:10-20, 2:10-20, 4:10-20, etc.).
Go to the island a few minutes before. You need to take a chest to turn into a chicken. You have to press A and tap on a mob to get out of this transformation.
You should be at a party because you can get the island heart and Epona's quest if only one party member damages the Boss.
THE BOSS DIES EXTREMELY FAST (0.5sec)
62. Orbis
Random drop from the Field Boss King Pumpkin.
The island is in a Dead Sea area (Ghost Ship).
63. Speeda Island
Random drop from the Field Boss that appears after breaking a huge egg by mining or a small egg by tapping it.
200+ pickaxes are needed per person (an NPC sells them on the island).
Note: If you have lags, run to the island's top, wait 10 seconds, and return.
64. Island of Fire and Ice
Random drop from Field Boss Briaraeus.
The island is in a frost zone (requires the 3rd boat).
65. Altaijen/Alteisen
Random drop from Field Boss Sol Grande.
The island is in a sandstorm area.
66. Erasmo's Island
Random drop from Field Boss Erasmo.
Requires ten people singing: Song of Resonance.
67. Evergrace's Nest
Random drop from Field Boss A chaos of mixed.
The island is in a storm zone.
68. Time Island/Island of the Years
Random drop from Field Boss Sabnak.
It spawns inside pots that can be acquired by fishing on the island.
69. Secret Base X-301
Dungeon Boss random drop. Requires ilvl 335 to enter.
70. Unknown Island (West Side)
Random drop from the Field Boss.
Small mobs hurt pretty badly (ilvl recommended 380+ recommended).
71. Balpuris/Valpurgis (West Side)
Dungeon Boss random drop. Requires ilvl 440 to enter.
The island is in a Dead Sea area (Ghost Ship).
72. Turbulent/Torrent Island (West Side)
Field Boss Aurion random drop
